Petrified Designs

My name is Diesel McReynolds and I am 11 years old. I am the founder and owner of Petrified Designs. I specialize in Petrified Wood and Fossils from the Moreno Hill Formation in the Zuni Basin of Western New Mexico. The pieces you see in my collection are 89-91 million years old and of the Early-Late Cretaceous (Turonian) Period. The fossils are from the Rio Salado Tongue of the Mancos Shale which is only found in west-central New Mexico. Many of my pieces are fluorescent under UV light due to the mineral content. These pieces have been found on our family’s private Ranch near the Arizona and New Mexico border. The pieces from this time period and formation are extremely rare. I personally collect, clean, and polish all my own pieces.


You can buy any of these pieces on display or visit my eBay store Petrified Designs. Custom engraving is also offered on certain pieces. Please inquire for a quote on custom engraving. I accept cash, checks, venmo, or credit cards.
